Rod Black’s knowledge, versatility, and enthusiasm have earned him a reputation as one of Canada’s most recognizable and distinguished sportscasters.
In his 30 years as a sports journalist, Black has been involved with a variety of different events and competitions, fitting into each role with ease.
As the voice of figure skating in Canada, Black also covers all the drama and excitement of the sport as commentator for CTV and TSN’s figure skating coverage.
Black’s extensive sports resume includes play-by-play announcing for the CFL ON TSN, as well as hosting duties for TSN’s golf, NBA, and international hockey coverage.
